Re: Pay to play ponds in Sac?

The one on Grant Line is Lake Blodgett, but I don't really recommend it. Last I knew they charged $125 a year for a membership. The place has bass, bluegill, catfish, etc....but in my opinion is no better fishing than a lot of similar ponds you can access for free. Maybe worse, because the shoreline is pretty much constant weeds and kids would have a difficult time fishing it.

Pay to play ponds in Sac?

Anyone know of a good place to take kids around Sacramento or maybe within 30 miles? Don’t mind paying a fee to “catch” fish. I was thinking Comanche South shore ponds but I have never really don’t tgat well there when I was younger. Granted that was 15+++ years ago but I just never really caught fish and never really saw anyone catching fish there
