Looks like it is supposed to, 5-10kts over a 2-4' swell @ 12-14 seconds. Its gonna be slick calm.

Lots of anchovies around now and also a lot of whales.

I've been reading that the halibut are off of Angel Island right now.

Lots of info on drifting for halibut on You Tube. I use frozen anchovies and don't bother with the live ones. I'm sure you get better results with live, but at $30 a half scoop I can buy a lot of frozen anchovies. I also troll instead of drift so that's the reason for using frozen bait.

    Good luck.

    Halibut still around Paradise?

Hey all, taking the wife out for the first time this Saturday. Im hoping the forecast for the ocean holds and ill get her on some salmon, but in the event that Mother nature has other ideas, we were thinking of launching at loch lomand and then hitting the bay for butts. Any tips you can give? Halibut is one of those things I have no experience or confidence in. If someone wants to trade info for info, im a wealth of knowledge when it comes to open ocean fishing! TIA!
