    Pyramid 12-5-19

Launched the boat at Popcorn yesterday. Fished to Dego and back twice for 8 fish. 2 over 24 inches. A 12 plus pounder and a 8 pounder. Fishing still slow.

Thanks for the report. I've never been, and was wondering when is the best time to go? Any idea? Jan, Feb, etc?

Jan and Feb are excellent months at the P. The colder and snowier it is the better the fishing is.

Slow day? Most fishermen fish all their lives for a 12# trout. Nice to see people launching once again at Popcorn. You done good.

Thanks for the info. I just might plan a trip during winter break in Feb. My boys and I would enjoy getting into some big ones.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Congrats on the 12lber Ivan and the 8lber too!

We fished Pelican for 2 slot fish and one under 17". Only fished 2hrs because my impeller broke. Luckily They had an impeller and I got it fixed this morning.

Be back out there next week hopefully.

usually the fishing is pretty good anytime, fishing season is closed from
    7-01 thru 9-30.

if you have never been here, the second full weekend of april or October, that's when the fests are, not only is the fishing usually good, the potluck on Saturday evening has really great variety and good tasting food, visiting with fellow sniffers and others make it a worthwhile weekend.

    How old was that impeller?

Installed last October 2018. At idle no water spitting out. Full throttle a weak stream of water. Now it has a strong stream at idle. I guess they just get weak? I checked the thermostat also and it was working fine.

When I took it out the flanges were all curled up like a question mark.
